Starbucks Coffee Company commissioned several pieces from John for in their in-store murals. These have been featured all around the world for years.

John has also done illustration work for clients such as the Wall Street Journal, Nordstrom, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. 

John's paintings are in public and private collections from Microsoft to Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler.
